Berkeley Elementary and Middle School
-- Morning: @ all elementary and middle schools in Berkeley, teachers and parents will be leafleting about the state budget crisis and the need for progressive taxation to restore the promise of our state
-- 3:30 pm: Teachers, students, families, classified staff and administrators will be lining Martin Luther King Jr. Way from University Avenue to Bancroft Avenue (starting at 2134 MLK Jr. Way) to raise awareness in our community of the crisis in California. Signs and leaflets will be provided. All are welcome.

Long Beach: Wilson High School

Ocean High School
-- Regular class will be suspended for the day (students will go off campus to collect signatures and distribute literature calling attention to the drastic cutbacks imposed on the state's public education system)
